The scoop
The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) has two levels. At 500 subscribers, 3 qualified uploads in the last 90 days, and either 3,000 long-form watch hours in the last 365 days or 3 million Shorts views in the last 90 days, you can apply for channel memberships, gifts, Supers, Shopping and YouTube Creator Partnerships.
At 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 long-form watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million Shorts views in the last 90 days, you also get a share of ad and YouTube Premium revenue. Every channel is reviewed by a person before it is accepted, which YouTube says typically takes about a month.
